Lever/Pad

Lever pad handles, also referred to as upvc door handles have levers on each side to operate the multipoint locks. They are available in various finishes and designs and can be used on a wide range of materials that include UPVC doors, Aluminium doors & Timber Doors. They are sold in pairs for both the inner and exterior door with screws and spindles included. They are also available in handed and unhandled versions to suit different types of users.

They are typically used for new constructions and are installed to replace existing upvc doors. The levers are lowered to open the multipoint locks, and the key is turned to lock or close the door. They provide a bit more security than standard lever door handles, as the locking is only done by the inside using keys.

They're not as secure as a cylinder bolt but are an affordable alternative for a home with more security. The only drawback is that they don't offer the same level of protection as a cylinder lock and they don't restrict access to the home if the door handle replacement is left open.

This type of handle can also be put in for doors in the interior, like those in bedrooms where you want to restrict outside access.

In certain situations the snib button can cause issues, especially when you have doors and locks that are distorted. If the snib button was accidentally pressed, or by someone who isn't familiar with it, the door could slam and lock you out. You can usually gain entry by knocking on the door frame or letterbox. But, this is not ideal.

Lever/Moveable Pad

This is a popular handle style for front doors that has the advantage of keeping the door from opening from outside without keys if the lock isn't deadlocked. This is achieved with a 'pad-shaped' external brompton carry handle that locks into the gap between the handle and lock case.

This type of handle is designed for uPVC doors fitted with multipoint locks that operate using a split spindle operation. This kind of operation requires that the internal lever handle and the external pad handle are both fitted to the same lock case. This could be a straightforward switch from the current uPVC handles but it may also involve changing the lock case or a brand new set of handle furniture to allow for this additional function.

These aluminum levers and movable pad handles are suitable for uPVC doors and come with an easy to maintain slide bearing, spring cassettes, and fixing lugs provided. They have a euro profile cut out and are installed to a variety of uPVC and timber doors.

The lever moveable pad is available in various designs to fit a broad range of multipoint locks. They are designed to work with split spindle multipoint locks that have a 92mm cylinder centre and require a separate split spindle set, as provided by the lock manufacturer.

Lever/Moveable Snib

The lever handle is among the most well-known kinds of door handles made of upvc and comes in a range of designs.
